36.23 million shares still short

As of Nov 13th. Oct 31- 38.79M. Nov 13 -36.23M. So in 2 weeks, 2.56M got covered Look at the volume and SP movement in that time. Seems to me like a lot of new inflow has occurred.

Well, here's another way to look at it. On sept 30th, they had roughly 48.5M shares short. On Sept 30 at the SP was 19.09. One Nov 13th SP was 32.06. So, in the 6 weeks, SP moved up just under 75%, and the shorts covered just under 25%. Lots of runway still.

Essentially, short shares are loaned shares that gain value when the stock goes down and lose value as the stock goes up. They have an interest rate attached to the borrowing which has been as high as 40+% down to 10% per annum.
