KP405

does WPX still "own" part of KP405 property?  Could Rio Tinto be in the process of taking over WPX or entering into some sort of joint venture with WPX?

thanks.  that is fantastic news.  maybe rio tinto going to partner with WPX?  I doubt the Chinese would want a buyout unless they get guaranteed offtake for a long time.  We will see I guess.

Its gonna be a mess if Rio tinto gets involved, the chineese have their game plan of the Future of WPX,  WPX is 67% owned by Chineese  SOE.   They have their own Experience team  and Rio tinto at this point is Useless.  Not unless they want to buyout the Entire WPX for $1.60 per share

I could foresee Western could buy into the Rio/Acron project if Rio makes a reasonable price. Chinese and Russian can work together.
