Congrats to Blueboron99 for Solving the Puzzle

It has been a team effort, but the puzzle is now complete. We have all been a part of putting the puzzle together. Great team work, guys! Hats off to blueboron99 for completing the puzzle last week. Now, we just need to wait. I suspect the deal will be June or July 2021. Based on the Glamis deal, current trends with copper and gold, and where we stand today, we should be sitting at around $30 per share at the time of the deal. Way to go Blue. Now, just coasting until the deal is complete.

That will be excellent if we hit $30, which is about $22 USD by the time of a buyout.  That would be the equivalent of a lottery ticket winner for us heavily invested in WRN. On the downside, I am putting the floor at $10, but I will gladly take $22 on the upside!!  It just depends on how these announced drill holes pan out and what the environment for gold and copper is next year. Not to be a downer...but US$10 would still be market cap $1.45B I believe. Old FS NPV was $1.4B usd I believe. Unless new FS NPV doubles to about $3B usd....I wouldn’t expect so much. personally id be happy with $5usd which is still about $700m or about 50% NPV. Sorry guys....20+ usd seems unreasonable....

Market cap is not the key point here...WRN is in drivers seat to bargain a deal with some very big league people. Demand for copper in the future is huge...and not enough projects out there to fill the void on the scale of WRN. Copper and gold combined WRN is the biggest and best upcoming project in the world that is not already online. Drill results will be excellent...the board knows that...75 ...more

Blue hit the nail on the head. Goldcorp bought coffee as a strategic position to go after Casino. They would have dumped Coffee years ago if it wasn't so. Beaty was savvy enough to get it from both sides. Newmont then bought 18% of the Freegold Mountain Project on the other side of us. Newmont owns nothing else in the Yukon. The only reason Newmont is hanging onto the Yukon is their interest ...more

Hope your right...I chose to set my expectations lower to be pleasantly surprised. What I don’t understand is why other smart people like Sprott, etc wouldn’t be more aggressive in buying if that’s all true? I mean Paul should be out mortgaging his home and be all in along with all other insiders if those levels of share price is expected with high level of certainty.

If it were such a sure fire 100% guarantee of 5 bagger ...let alone 10-20 bagger over the next 12-18 months....then why wouldn’t Sprott and others  have bought 2-3 times over prior quarter?  Sorry guys...I’m neither shorty no pumper ...just trying to play the middle ground and must believe in somewhat more efficient markets than others. Existing FS study would imply somewhere around $3- ...more

Sooner, were you there through the Western Silver/Glamis/Goldcorp deal with Penasquito? Many of us were. If you know how Dale operates, he has a winning formula and it works. It worked with Penasquito and he's applying the same strategies with both WRN and Northisle. The thing with Dale is that you have to be very patient, There will be years of going excruciatingly slow. But then when it ...more

Thanks Steven.. Unfortunately no...I missed out on Western Silver. Looking forward to getting proven wrong of course. I’ve never been lucky enough to have a 20 bagger....I’m of course holding and some small accumulation...so quite interested in how it plays out!

Cb2, I also got the impression WRN will continue to drill next May/June /21. Paul had indicated in his last interview still have $1M left from flow through shares to use in drilling, and the monies WRN just raised last week could also be used for drilling Casino. Really looking forward to the drilling results in Dec to see where we stand and what is scheduled for next year.   I'm ...more

What smelter from Japan? What segment from where? Thanks!
Comment by blueboron99 on Nov 23, 2020 10:59pm
Steve,  If my memory serves me right, I seem to recall an interview Dale Corman gave a few years back with Steve McNish from Investing News. Dale had stated 3 smelter Companies from Japan,  South Korea and China were all interested in our Casino deposit. I'm wondering if the Japanese smelter Company is the same Company that was kicking tires two years ago, and now is seeking out a  ...more

In that case, it would be Sumitomo Metals. They are probably referring to a smelter on Shikoku in Ehime Prefecture. Surprises me that they have such a smelter in Ehime on Shikoku. Sumitomo is the biggest in Japan. In fact, Japan's Hashikari mine in Kagoshima on Kyushu is the biggest mine in the world. Just a little surprised that they have a smelter on Shikoku, but it does seem that they smelt ...more

Thank you, Steven!!  I agree with your message entirely.  I think Penasquito sold for $1.6 billion and it was only a shadow of what WRN contains.  I look for BIG numbers when WRB sells to NEM!!  As a 14 year buyer of WRN, I have great confidence in Dale Corman and his wisdom/patience.  It won't be long now ....
