Q? looks like Newmont's Coffee deposit is about 40 kms
from WRN's Casino.
The Coffee feasibility study plans a road and seasonal Yukon river crossing from Dawson City way to the north.
The Casino feasibility study plans road access to Carmacks in the south which Yukon and the feds have agreed to start buiding this year. Look up Freegold road plan.
Does it make sense for a road from Coffee to Casino and then south to shave 3-400 kms off the transportation route to Skagway and for supplies north? Would one power plant, camp and airport be able to supply both mines.
If this is feasible and given Newmont will complete the purchase of GT Gold next week, does it not make sense for Newmont to bid for WRN. NEM has about $6 bill cash on hand.

Entirely reasonable and actually a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with Pine. Eventually, everyone will be wanting the shortest routes to Asia. Only so many trucks you can get through mountain roads at one. Coffee and Casino will also eventually become one big entity. Why else build a connector road? The duckies are lining up, little by little.
