DB  somewhat disagree. Believe day to day copper prices will now become less and less important. Obviously still a factor but should become secondary to ongoing "dance" that will be taking place between WRN and Rio.  remember the comment that this discussion between Rio and WRN has been going on for some time...when copper prices significantly lower than today. Like Paul ...more

Still important. In 2011 when copper tanked so did their talks with suitor.  Went from 4.5 a share to 50 cents.  Just saying.  Great day but risk still there. I sold some today.  Still hold a lot. Deliberating on whether to sell somewhere.  Let's see what open looks like.  Cheers.

DB, politely disagree with you on this one. Arguments are incongruous for two points. We were never that deep into a deal in 2011. We had the opportunity to be, but there was no action nor materialization. And, secondly, copper never had such an upside back then. If it were only EVs, but it is not. If it were only green Technologies, but it isn't. If it were only depleting resources with older ...more

Hope your right. I'm too old to argue but thinning the heard and reducing risk is never imprudent. Looks good but there's always risk.
