The lifeguard has blown his whistle.....

and advised all the investors that it is now safe to get back into the pool as all of the urchins have now fully left.

They'll be back the next time a large, multi-million tranche of shares is acquired by a major or an investment fund, but until then the waters are now safe!!

I was thinking about this yesterday. I'm wondering if the "other parties" wanted a Rio type deal and we said no. Therefore, they're waiting on the FS as the derisking trigger. Think about it. Rio is relatively new to the Yukon, whereas the Gold majors are already there. They're used to the regulation process, know FNs etc. I'm sure they've already seen the data etc ...more

The only need for additional strategic investments by any other suitors would be for them to potentially bid with confidence on Casino. That being said, why would any major doubt any future bids for Casino by RIO? We all know that if RIO bids X, then in reality it is worth at least that much if not much, much more. NEM really wouldn't need a strategic deal as they have confidence ...more

We shouldn't overlook the fact that NEM and Barrick already have a very successful partnership experience with a copper/gold mine in Nevada. That experience may increase the likelihood of a joint offer for WRN, especially since NEM already owns the Coffee Project and has had successful negotiatons with the YESAB and Yukon Territory. Don't give up hope!!

Our issue will be if they drag us through the entire permitting and run us out of cash, the board is responsible to keep the company solvent. People who say we are more valuable permitted may be correct, but we should anticipate them eventually announcing more shares sold if things progress out too far.
