strung along

I understand the complexity of these type of deals, but the news release looks pretty amateuristic. They know they had little support from their minority shareholders, so I guess they don't really care, but telling us they will close by the end of Febuary, or maybe not, and will make a dividend, but maybe not, just looks pretty bad.
I guess they are all excited about the Jan 9th submissions for the CRTC, but given six months of silence without a dividend, I gather shareholders other than their own must be such an inconvenience.
I get a funny feeling we're going to be dragged out for another six months to a year, and depending on how things go, might drop the offer if it doesn't work for them, but we'll be no better off.
