Missing something

If someone can explain the situation to me, will be appreciated. The company talking to go private and buy the shares at 4.80$. Waiting for approval... But the stock is always going up... why people would like to buy this stock at 5.60$ if the company gonna buying back at 4.80$.
I don't understand this situation...

The company is going to be stolen internally by insiders and Sirius USA for .898 of a siri share for 74% and bascially $4.50 cash at 26%. That calculation is due to the CBC selling its shares for $4.50 in cash completely. When you do the math, which incluses the foreign exchange , you get a value for the sale at about $6 canadian, sometimes less. The stock is trading higher these days as the deal ...more
