PR Crisis at Pat One?

PliskenNYC: what's your take on Peter Evans' reluctance to PR closed contracts? Do you agree with his stance on not finding a work-around that would not disclose the client and at the same time appease shareholders? I've seen companies, time after time, put out PRs without violating NDA but Peter seems to want to go the route of leaving everything for when the financials come out. What's your perspective?

I think he's a little put off about how cronin was releasing nothing sandwiches every 5 minutes instead of actually going out and doing the actual work it takes to generate news worthy events. The is literally starting from scratch in a lot of respects, Cronin did absolutely nothing in terms of sales and advertising, nothing was in place, no momentum, no team, nothing. Instead of the paid turtle youtube videos directed towards shareholders Evans is directly targeting the hot markets like stadiums and casinos. The recent webinars directed towards those customers is a good example, the demo day at the plaza and lobbying organizations like the NCS4 another.

If Patscan's tech is as advertised, marketing it shouldn't be too hard. I think Dietmar's departure was voluntary; he wanted to try his hand at running a company, and he is definitely a bit of a rolling stone. He usually moves on before the two year mark with every company he has ever signed on for. A lot of people have been using the term "inflection point' for Pat, and I ...more
