Eight capital

Are the ones responisble for the constant 500 shares sales the past weeks, they received free warrants at 0.51 cad as a part of the agent deal during the last offering.

So they are converting shares at 0.51 and selling at 0.65-0.70

Once they dumped their shares we should go back up again

I feel like Peter used retailers as a shield to take the biggest blow and then maybe later smooth ground for bigger money.  The action with eight capital is questionable. Not saying X1 mgmt did something wrong but in that case they were betrayed too. Its not only the selling but the way its been done. Would love to hear counterarguments from folks more experienced w micro caps financing ...more

Rick You are more than probably right as these warrants were O/S as of July 31. WIll know when they release first quarter financials.  Can not find the hold period on SEDAR but would not surprised me if they shorted before.  Hey, they get paid this way so what is the big deal.   And we should have some cash coming in the BS.   Thinking about it, what would poeple ...more

Agree Rick's explanation is likely and thank you for being a voice of reason Frozen. The board here has some tendency to go down the rabbit hole - in truth, reality tends to be more boring than what you can cook up in your mind. Completely agree on the "business is doing great, share price will follow" comment, the challenge is that none can say when.  Always a timing risk in ...more

Not a glowing endorsement from Eight Capital if they are satisfied to flip their warrants at such a small profit. Seems a bit counter intuitive, seeing as they assessed our actual value at $1.30. Really disappointing if they've artificially inflated that share price estimate and are selling at what they really think we are worth.

No expert on this subject, but I would guess that the investment banking arm of Eight Capital and the equity research arm are different profit centers (with different leradership, bonus schemes, etc.) and hence they have little interest in what other parts are doing/saying. Simlarly it may not be part of the IB arm's prerogative to speculate on share price developments - e.g. they could have a ...more

Hey Weighing Machine, Why convert :  not tradable.  These were .51 warrants (at the same price than the offering), not at the .64 warrants awarded with the raise which are listed and fully tradable. Cheers,

Of course, this makes sense - too cumbersome to offload if not listed, and probably difficult to get a fair price. Thanks Frozen.
