Wells...
Looking at Petroninja on IPO, OBE, YGR, and Bne I think can lead a person to infer some things.
I think some companies like OBE stragetically drill the quality of their cardiim tier based on price of oil. I think OBE was drilling weaker location cardium locations when oil jumped on russian war in first six months of 2022. Weaker cardium wells are economic at 100 WTI but more dicey at 70 or under oil
I mean the one thing about modern fast drilling rigs and long horizontal lengths, stuff sure can get drilled out fast. Like take petroninja to clearwater play and wow is just lengths of wells drilled everywhere...quite fast how companies are going through acreage. It is okay thing if wells are good and hold and some clearwater are nice for many months. But companies can not sit without buying new locations for long. IPO has drilled the priarie storm stuff faily fast in willy....they seem to have tried a belly river and are looking at other plays as well.
I think YGR has least pressure for locations as they only started on land base in 2017and YGR spaces quite tight. May scarifice on some production with tight spacing but it does allow land and locations to really last longer. YGR is by far tightest spacer in cardium. YGR is making their drilling last twice as long compared to if they spaced like others in cardium in some parts of their land base.
As long as wells level out at 500 barrels of oil and 10000 mcf of ng at declined stage YGR will do well...should be the target for stable phase. Dont need that much.
Charlie lake play has same flaw, not spaced very tight.
Lots are spacing 4 2 mile wells over 8 quarters of land or 2 sections or 1280 acres of land. Can drill that in 2 months...every 2 months drilling 1280 acres chews up land fast.

YGR takes a lot a flack for spacing, but it's true that overall reserve recovery will be higher and in theory declines not as harsh New license locations in Chedder both look really good, but I always think that, so there's that. Stock is waiting for new land results to the west, I dunno what to expect from that. Alot of dollars spent out there in Q1.......
