Poking around the net

With ng at 5 cents for this weekend, I was poking around the net for articles on economics if shutting wells ins.
the basic theme with a lot of articles is some wells if you shut in risk having higher water and low oil and gas per day than pre shut in.
Also some companies with firm service contracts got to produce no matter what.

'something has to give, be really bad for industry if October is under 50 cents.

I think right now with market as tight as it is...the weather forecasts for wind help set aeco spot prices for the weekend. It has been windy in Alberta as forecasted and that probably hits gas demand by 1 bcf a day. whenever wind energy production in Alberta is over 2500 mw, ng prices really struggle in short spot term price. USA company heartland power sold old coal to ng stations in forestberg ...more
