TSX:YNG - Post Discussion

Yukon Nevada Gold Corp > WOW .. what a ride
View:
Post by MrGRP on Aug 18, 2010 4:05pm

WOW .. what a ride

On the TSX top trading companies we ended up # 1 with a incredible 7,695,814 shares traded !

YNG closed the day up .08 cents per share or up 15.69 % to close at .59 per share.

Up as much as .63 cents per share or 23.53 % at one time but with the run YNG has had in the past couple of
weeks and especially today .. you have to expect some of the day or short term traders are going to do some
profit taking.

But all good .. no complaints from this guy !

There should be more drilling results to come out oft he Yukon and drilling results to come out of  Nevada soon,
lets just hope they are as impressive and we see the same jump in share price

Chhers and best of fortune to all

Gerald

Yeah --  keep pumpin --- after the 1 for 10 consolidation from Queenstake -- I need $9.00 to break even --- thanks great management!!

First of all I personally would not call it pumping ... I merely stated the facts of todays trading ... and yes for me and many others it was a good day and a good ride ! And second ... I was talking about today .. not what happened years ago under a different CEO. I can understand your bitterness if you were stung but the past ... but you have to then understand my excietment with watching this ...more

And one more thing ... it was obviously you that  rated my post as a 1 ..... just because you have lost money on this stock and are ticked at the company ... it doesn't mean you need to rate every positive post as a 1 ! Everyone does not follow or have access to follow the trading .... I think as probably many others do that my post was at least .... clear, quality as it was real ...more

I for one agree with you totally ..... In my opinion this stock is just getting noticed and has turned the corner. From what has been indicated by the company there  should still be lots of positive news forthcoming. More drilling results should be coming out in regards to the Yukon properties, more drilling results from Nevada. Also the next quarterly report should show come great numbers in ...more

Well put Artie .. and very good to read from an investor that has been in YNG since the old days and sad to say took a kicking from past management !!! Your post was very honest ! and very informative from an investor that has heard it all .... lets face it .. with the way things have been and are turning around one thing is in common for all shareholders .. we are moving forward and  that ...more

Yukon mines online?!?!Graham Dickson (current COO) was telling people at an investment conference in Vancouver in 2006 that they would be producing gold in the Yukon by 2008 - I was there to hear his pitch! Please.

you got us all wrong! you make us laugh! Pitiable!Given the history of this company, your so called facts, once again, are just useless crap! Now: Get lost!

Truth hurts to pumpers like you Lecoste.I realize you may be up as much as 50 grand in the last couple of months, which is great. Don't spend it all in one place.Take some off the table when you see Dickson cashing in his millions of options - if he actually reports the transaction.  History tells us the stock usually goes far south after he gets his cash.

I can't understand why an investor in a stock who bought at much higher levels and saw his investment eavapourate to almost nothing would continue to post negative continuously even when there is a chance he may get some or perhaps most of his money back due to share price appreciation.  I bought Queenstake at $3.30 and held all the way down to the abyss, I took another risk and ...more

Downer stay. I for one appreciate the realism of your posts. So far the New YNG is much better than the Old YNG;but the COO is the same guy.  So bullshitters seldom totally change their stripes. Baldoc is the man I pay most attention to, so we will see if he delivers. So far stock price wise this is HUGE increase in value. All of us newbies saw the underlying value; and the oldsters who ...more

I agree that it is good to know the history behind this company and history can be useful .. but sometimes it is like you are sitting in the same history class over and over again !
