Succession Management
Masrani was appointed CEO in 2014. Almost ten years into his tenure. He is also 68 years old. A tad long in the tooth, candidly, on either metric. Members of the board, at least the ones who are future oriented, ought to be looking at suitable candidates. Whether they settle on an internal or an external candidate, it can't be a "business as usual" one. The candidate should have a strong record on compliance and on running a tight ship in order to regain the confidence of investors. And sooner the transition, the better.
Cheers.

His long tenure is exactly why it's going to be longer than it should be, every suitable internal candidate has jumped ship for greener pastures because he's plugged up the natural succession path for the high fliers. So now when they need fresh blood more than ever thier gone. WB is,of course, the only exception to the rule.
