TD is a great stock. Buy or regret it.

An amazing uplift at the end of the month/week. Next week Canada will lower the interest rate on Wednesday. All of these dividend Stocks will go up. Will be over $77 easily by Thursday morning.

Who knows what happens after that? But I'm making money right now because I bought TD all week long.

Newcoin, you got to buy TD all week long because of incompetent management and more than one had to be sleeping at the wheel. And no one is being held accountable! I hold alot of TD and my shares would have been around the $100 mark at this time, not treading water in the $70 range. The money laundering issue is not done, it's going to fester for quite awhile, alot of trust to rebuild with all ...more

Hi Bridge. The last line you wrote caught my eye. I don't have any shares in TD as of yet. TBH...I am considering lightening up on my energy shares and take a nice position in TD. But I'm hoping to get in closer to $70. That would b my ideal target range.  There has been talks that TD may go as low as $60 - $65 range, but, I don't see that in the cards, personally.

stockmarket1, just a comment today based upon the Jefferies Financial Group analysts' comments about the money-laundering fines are likely to be double (now $4 billiion) of what was first anticipated. There's now a potential opportunity to pick up TD shares below the $70 mark so wait to purchase...........on the other hand if the fines total $4 billion these share will likely stagnate for ...more

Just to note, TD profits for Q2 were reported at $3.8 billion. These fines when completed may result in a total amount of $4 -5 billion dollars. How much of an impact on share price will losing at least a quarter's earnings have? How long will it take to recover and then continue upwards to where the other banks have been headed during that period of time?

Well that is to the point and rightly so . A bunch of criminals profiting by colluding with organized crime IE Cartels to pad profits , fees and their I'll gotten bonuses , but no one held accountable in that cesspool they call Head Office . What do you expect when our CEO comes from a society that thrives on , shall we say , nefarious activities while pleading innocence. Unfortunately this ...more

TD is a bad bank.  It laundering money from drug cartels and isn't taking any resposibilty for it.  TD will grind every last dime out of their small investors and small clients but they're oblivious to their ill gotten gains from laundering drug money.  Senior TD management lording over the working people of Canada should be frog marched out of their offices, right to ...more

a few years from now everyone will look back and wish they bought more. you rarely get chances like this. i will be here in 2027 to remind everyone. i will take a snipshot of this message so i can paste it later

Not if the regulating bodies limit thier growth in the USA and restrict acquisitions until they prove they are in control. The possible 4B fines is a small matter if you have your growth path chocked off and are under the magnifying glass by regulators. The class action lawsuits will be a constant reminder to investors of the mess hey have made and will last well beyond 2027.WFC is a good example ...more
