'm curious as to why this becomes part of TGC instead of EPL.  If Taiga is bought out anytime soon as everyone seems to expect I would think the new project would basically be included for free.  I would have expected new projects to become part of EPL.

Anyone have thoughts?

Just a feeling but SSR may only go for the remaining percentage they don't have and not the whole company.  Either through shares/cash or a combination.  That way TGC can continue as a single entity exploring their own properties backed by a very substantial cash flow.  Now that would be nice, best of both worlds for shareholders.

If you take out the property that's a part of the deal and the others in the immediate area, there really isn't much value left. A few properties worth $10,000 each wouldnt really be worth contining to pay the significant public compliance costs. Also, I have a feeling that if they were to get an offer for tens of millions and decide to keep it, rather than distribute it, there would be ...more
