The Safe Banking Bill does not

Decriminalize Marijuana or remove it as a schedule one drug. In other words More (no pun intended) legislative action is required to up list to the major exchanges.  I personally think Chuck got it wrong. Let the safe act pass with the defence bill. Let all the marijuana money roll into the banks. And the powerful bank lobbyists will do the rest pushing the republicans to legalize once and for all. Generating more businesses more Cash flow into banks. It's big money. Big money talks. Come one Chucky pass that safe bill

It was sad to watch two individuals create havoc with the infrastructure bill.  Not so much the details, but a political process in place that gives 2 the power over 48 (and the President).  My view is the decline of share prices across the board in this sector is the realization by many that little will be accomplished by the present government in the USA as it is presently configured.& ...more

I'm going To read this post shortly. I'm grabbing a coffee. In the meantime I must warn you. The short volume on Tilray is absolutely obscene. There is a possible gal to fill to 9.50 and at that point would be very very hard to break. The fact we held over ten on a Friday with Hexi further tanking the sector means I personally think we have better chances of filling the gap to the upside ...more

I believe what is also impacting the MSOs is the various banks divesting themselves of allowing retail investors to hold these shares in their investment accounts.  Credit Suisse led the charge in the spring, Bank of America followed this summer, and I am reading reports of JP Morgan following suit last week.  I do not see this so much as a conspiracy rather than the banks not wanting to ...more

I agree that the Dems will lose the Midterms given the polls today. Republicans however are growing more and more fond of legalization on their terms.  They aren't blind that the majority of American including their constituents agree with full legalization. The dems may attempt a push prior to mid terms for a boost in the polls. Nothing Tilray has done in recent history caused this much ...more

As a shareholder of Tilray I hope beyond reason that all your points are valid CIA.  I will not argue against one of them!!!!  That would be oddly self defeating. The reality is any short term gains are off the table (and not because of Tilray, mainly due to USA politics); but long term I see Tilray as the best positioned LP.  I am hopeful they do move toward 30 percent of the ...more

He is a sharp shooter. Irwin Simon makes moves and don't be surprised if we capture by next quarter another significant portion of the Canadian market and the globe. It's all about having the key people in place. Him hiring an ex Bacardi chief to head the Canadian sector and inking deals with Canadian brokers in the last week are proof he means business. We're pushing. Let my history ...more

No apology required.  Keep arguing for Tilray's strengths...as a shareholder I appreciate it. I won't discount those who hold opposing opinions.  It is essential not to have rose coloured glasses on.   Last day of vacation before I head back into the fray next week.  I don't have anything of value to add here so will revert to reading on occasion.   ...more
