First step of many big steps...

While we wait...(for the new people on this board).

In this link(paid advertising)....
.Pharma stock Theralase paves way for in-home cancer treatment | 2024-08-21 | Investing News | Stockhouse

It said...
'' Rutherrin has been shown to be effective across numerous potential applications, including:
-Bladder Cancer.
-Cancer Immunotherapy.
-Chemotherapy.
-Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.
-Numerous Virus Including The Coronavirus.
Now the pharma stock(TLT) is solidifying these multi-billion-dollar addressable markets...Theralase also notes that because Rutherrin and Metformin both cross the blood-brain barrier,as well as tumour-specific blood barriers, their combination potentially allows Rutherrin to target
cancer cells anywhere in the body''

You can easily see that Ruvidar approval is just the very first step, of many multi-billion-dollard steps.

I love the short-term and long-term potential of TLT.

Is getting this PP closed, it seems like that hasn't happened yet.
Comment by rhodiumd on Nov 12, 2024 11:53am
They're most likely gonna have it pinned at .30 until the PP closes
Comment by menoalittle on Nov 12, 2024 12:09pm
The PP was totally closed on Friday. However, the TSX has to approve prior to a news release (which can take several days.) Believe whatever you want... but those selling now are not those participating in the PP... and in another week or so, I suspect they'll be kicking themselves for selling now... lol.
Comment by StevenBirch on Nov 12, 2024 12:55pm
I'm not questioning the lack of a news release, just that this looks like every other PP with TD putting in a big offer then marching it down. But if it's closed I guess it's closed.
Comment by skier59 on Nov 12, 2024 12:55pm
Don't forget there are 3.5 million PP shares @22 that came free trading last week. With the 5 year warrants @30 and I'm sure there will be some that might sell this down to around 25 unless some big news comes out real soon. Another 2.7 million PP shares @20 are free trading Jan.25 also having 5 year 30 cent warrants. Zero risk just holding the warrants and booking a small profit. Let' ...more

If you're not one that participated in that placement, how is it that you're so sure of that skier? Why project what you would do (if you even ever had the wherewithal to participate in said PP) onto an accredited investor that quite likely has a better insight and understanding of what this company is doing and where they are at in the process of it, than you do?
Comment by skier59 on Nov 12, 2024 2:13pm
I've been invested in this company for over 10 straight years, and trust me, I've lived through a lot of PP's and forecasts issued by this company. If the recent PP is in fact closed thats great, it is certainly welcome to see it at a higher price than we have endured the past few years. But to assume that BTD is a slam dunk should not be pumped. I hope it comes through. Seems there ...more

I am interested in hearing your take on recent progress and potential. Ive been struggling to get a perspective here that isnt overly optimistic. Ive been steadily increasing my position but I am not sure exactly how much farther I am going to go.

I'm buying more tomorrow. ------------------------------------------------------------"There is a growing attraction in analyzing off-patent drugs that have established safety, pharmacokinetics (how the human body interacts with a drug) and efficacy and repurposing them for other indications; specifically, cancer, to significantly reduce the cost and time to bring them to market ...more

If BTD was a slam dunk (or perceived as being that by most here) TLT would already easily be trading well north of a dollar.  'nuf said.
Comment by StevenBirch on Nov 12, 2024 5:31pm
You don't know that. It certainly couldn't be on a valuation basis, not until they get a big infusion of cash or at least until FDA approval. So that leaves speculation and we have seen this held down forever. Every time buying interest shows up they throw cold water on it. So is it being held down because there is doubt about BTD, AA, etc? Or is it being held down because of their ...more

If they raised the 1 mill what they said they  want I would consider that a positive sign..Btd approval would be another boost realisticly don't think that would proppel the sp to $ levels

Menoalittle.  Can you share your source of info.  If PP is closed they should disclose.  I think holding back information from share holders does not meet SEC regulations.
Comment by menoalittle on Nov 12, 2024 1:04pm
Call them and try to participate in the offering if you don't believe me.
Comment by Oilminerdeluxe on Nov 12, 2024 1:18pm
Forgive me if my memory is wrong, but I seem to recall it has taken quite a bit of days when previous PPs closed and when an actual pr of it was given. Others might recall differently.
Comment by TimboBaggins on Nov 12, 2024 1:25pm
They're not holding it back, this is how it has always worked. It closes, they get approval the next week, they disclose the next week. It's only been done 10 times now.
Comment by DJDawg on Nov 12, 2024 3:15pm
I would agree. The usual process for any PP is you close it and you submit the paperwork to the exchange for (rubber) stamp of approval. Closed on Friday. Holiday monday, sort of. I would not be surprised if the NR regarding the PP was not released till next Monday or Tue.
Comment by StevenBirch on Nov 12, 2024 3:30pm
Again I'm not questioning it being closed, all I said was that it doesn't look like it's closed. I know some people who have to sell their shares to be able to afford to participate in each succeeding PP and they do it to keep their position and keep accumulating free warrants.  I don't see someone, at this late stage, who has both that decides to sell their shares for 'a ...more

TD has been the top seller down of this stock for years. Of course we have no idea who it is doing the selling through TD and SEC has the job of investigating.
