The End of Tupperware

The End of TupperwareThe absence of a turn around at Tupperware lands squarly at CFO Mariela Matute's feet! Her attitude of ignoring direct input on cutting 10s of millions of dollars annually is one of many wreckless positions she has taken.
In her brief 'leadership' Tupperware has it's worst time ever. Do not be fooled on the drop in sales numbers reasoning. The US sales have not been a significant percentage of total revenue in quite some time.
The current CEO and CFO are toxic to turning the company around if that is their real intent?
Mariela Matute has reduced staff in many departments while expanding her own. Millions in board cost with no mention of a slash in those costs.
The core issues Tupperware faces are the costly globally splintered environment. That is no central management, processes, or suppliers, etc.
The process of each of the Tupper global sites uniquly selecting everything from accounting software to ERP applications makes for a very expensive operation. One site in Europe takes order requests online then prints them out to fax, yes fax for fulfillment.
The requirement for office space and computers for even the smallest number of employees at a site is extremely costly. Operating in a more modern remote friendly attitude with virtual offices and computers would save millions a year.
Both the CEO & CFO should be removed and replaced by true leadership that will implement modern cost effective technical processes and employees.
