Maybe people are starting to realize that there is not only a supply shortage but also insecurity in the supply... With UEC close to producing and being unhedged to the price of Uranium folks may finally be waking up??? Mr Rule has stated,even at $60 per pound UEC would make "good money"" but let's hope Amir follows John borshoff And won't get out of bed for anything less

Why are people covering these shorts? If they take a short position, they are take a chance/betting.Why don't they let them lose their money?

Well, I suppose the way you are looking at it is to punish those investors betting on the short side.. They do have the opportunity to pay up and buy shares to cover their short positions.. With probably being 25m shares short they will manipulate the price to scare retail out of their shares..Some posters here seem to also want to bash and scare folks??? He was a short seller in the early days for his company. His job was to find companies he thought had  bad management teams and short sell ttheir stock. So, he did this all the time to a lot of companies. When we were being short sold in the spring it was because they didn't think the projects were as good as the company said,

During the last cycle we were in a surplus and the uranium price hit $137, yet we are in a deficit and we haven't hit anywhere near that. The fuel buyers have to panic soon, and realise that they are not fully covered as far as inventories. UEC major problem is it will produce a product that is early in the fuel cycle, yellow cake. If they could build a partnership with an enrichment company

Yes the integration with an en richer fabricator would be positive.. You say that UEC will be early.. I see that as a great opportunity.. If they are producing early (UNHEDGED) the money they receive can be allocated in a couple of ways.. Reward shareholders with a dividend?? Use some of the profits to help advance projects in Canada without having to come to the market or a bank for money

I don't believe any of their Canadian properties will be touched until the next cycle, and I do not see them given us a dividend for years. The profits will go to their American operations into exploration.
