Who should vote on any important issues concerning our futur
Hi maybe it is my consumption of alcool that makes me post but this is when i think better.
Many concerns that i have to bring up.
Who elected Mr Hamelin as president .
Who decided on the $300k salary.
Who decided that if Mr Hamelin didn"t perform he would get $450k (18 months compensation) and also the same 18m for Christine Veilleux.
The $300k salary seems to be for showing up for work.
Now my understanding is that BOD have the options to give millions of options to directors if they perform.
Who decide on the # of options and at what price and what performance should be like.
Board of directors are there to represent shareholders.
Board of directors include Mr Mestrallet(20% ownership),Mr Renaud Hinse(20% ownership) and all
other directors ( +- 1% ownership)..
I got the impression at the AGM that Mr Renaud Hinse is not asked for his opinion on any new decisions.
Now that leaves Mr Mestrallet as the only significant shareholders participation in any new decisions.
There was a vote on the proxi that asked shareholders to let management approve at their will 2 new directors (33%) withing the next year.
That was removed from the AGM (probably because there wasn<t a 50% approval).
Now will we see in the near future the same proposal to BOD that doesn"t need shareholders approval.
Yes maybe we have the best new president for the future.
He is surely the best negotiator for his own compensations.
I just calculated that among 10 of us own 20% of the co shares and have no saying in any decisions.
Have any of you realized that one share out of 400m can elect a new bod .
The only option is to abstain from voting.
Maybe if Pershimex is part of the future one BOD from PRO might better help represent shareholders.
