Just how overdue are the Firebird results?
Just going through the published news releases by ALX Resources ... June 14, 2021 Firebird drilling commenced
Aug 3, 2021 Hits sulphide minereralization at Firebird
- ALX Resources Corp. has completed a diamond drilling program at its Firebird nickel project located near the town of Stony Rapids in Northern Saskatchewan
- The helicopter-assisted drilling program began in the third week of June, 2021, on the first of four high-priority targets. Ground geophysical surveys were carried out on three targets to improve the definition of the conductive anomalies detected in a 2020 airborne survey. A total of 739.5 metres was completed in four diamond drill holes.
- When logging the drill core, a portable X-ray fluorescence device was used to confirm the presence of nickel and copper; however, absolute geochemical values cannot be reliably estimated and consequently are not reported at this time. Drill core is being shipped for analysis to ALS Global's geochemistry analytical lab in North Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Results are expected later in August, 2021, and will be released by the company after their receipt, compilation and interpretation.
- All samples are shipped by ground to ALS Global's geochemistry analytical lab in North Vancouver, B.C., Canada, for multielement analysis. ALS is an ISO-IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 9001:2015 accredited analytical laboratory that is independent of ALX and its qualified person.
No other headline news releases mentioning Firebird.
It seems forever however it would appear that the delay has only been 2 months however hopefully an announcement should be imminent ...
Hopefully the results come sooner than later ...
