I don't know if I agree with you on this.. Its dosen't even really start for at least 50 meters.. To remove this overburden would take years .. I guess this is why it trades at close to 0 !!

My money is on Eric, Walter & Ken knowing what they are doing. Incredibly large deposit & growing. If one doesn't believe in their ability to see this through, not sure why one would be on this board. Plenty of other places to put ones money--spending time bashing investments you don't believe in doesn't make sense & speaks volumes.

50 meters is around 50 yards...with the proper equipment..."butter"

I don't agree with the content of the post however 50M800M1000 = 40MM tons of rock that would need blasted, hauled and put ??? Figure 80MM with strip, er.... no butter here. It takes 100's of millions and years to blast highway rock at fraction of the volume.
Comment by LonghandStrong on Oct 17, 2021 8:51pm
there's no way that this would be one giant pit as described. This would need to be multiple, smaller projects, in order to remain economic.

I don't know mate, a quick google on open pit mines and it doesn't seem that crazy. Current largest open pit mine in Canada processes 55,000 tons per day X 365 days = 20,000,000 tons. With the 3 amigos @ .7g = 14,000,000 grams 28 = roughly 500,000 ozs gold per year. I don't think open pit mining is quite the same as precision blasting by engineers to create roads and highways where ...more

Look at Fording River for example. They can produce almost 10 million tonnes of coal per year at a strip ratio of over 10:1....
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Oct 17, 2021 11:52pm
that means your 80million tones would be about a year.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Oct 17, 2021 10:59pm
A single shovel/loader bucket will take over 60 cubic yards. A single truck will carry over 400 tonnes. This is how open pit mines work. They take a mountain down until it's a hole in the ground. Sure the strip ratio is maybe lower but take coal for example. It sells for $50 - 150/ tonne. That means we could move the same amount of rock, recover .05 oz of gold, and make the same amount of ...more

Once Tudor spins out their new company, roughly Nov, we should see very interesting results coming our way. The trending mineralization to the north is very close to surface, LESS than 30 meters.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Oct 17, 2021 11:45pm
The other aspect is that coal runs in seams and as I understand it here, once you are into gold bearing ore you are into it consistently. A 50 m overburden is nothing. They can run up to 200m or more..... I think with lower grade spread out over such a large area open pit would be pretty much the only option. The infrastructure to do this as an underground to me would not be feasible at all....

Imagine Seabridge's tunnel. But hundreds of times wider and deeper. How do you support that?
