CEO Message May 19, 2021 Hello Shareholders, First, let me tell you that I am honored to step into the role of CEO. I see it as a huge responsibility and take on the tasks with strong commitment and a focus to build shareholder value. Although I answer to the Board of Directors, ultimately, I work for each of you. I will spend each of your dollars like it is my own and I will continue to lead by investing my own money into various projects. I will also try to break the technical jargon down into an understandable message for those of us who are not technical. I will look for opportunities to move Angkor Resources forward in the extractive sector, in minerals and energy. Special attention will be given to the value-added elements and transition industries that are developed from traditional minerals and oil and gas energy solutions. SE Asia/Cambodia remains our base and ANK’s backbone has always been in exploration, but our model of structuring our projects with proactive community endorsement allows us to replicate that structure anywhere. It makes our mineral projects ‘mineable’ and positions our energy projects so they can advance. It sets a pattern for success and growth. I intend to further our exploration and seek out all opportunities that can add value to the shareholders. My main focus will be to move the share price to a level it deserves, so watch for changes with ‘your’ company. Hopefully, the stock price will respond favourably. We have dragons to slay and we need to get on with it. We have all sorts of opportunities – Angkor will pivot, look at change openly, and we will seek and close on those opportunities that align with and build value for Angkor. Leading into that, the press release of today is about some very significant discoveries in Andong Meas license. Wild Boar is a prospect with lots of near-to-surface gold showings, multiple veins, connected structures, and the majority of this season’s work has been focused on Wild Boar. All this trenching and pitting work is done at depths less than 2 metres from surface. Trenching becomes more informative and because we actually follow the veins as they bend and swell and pinch, it reminds me of crossing a bit of archeology with geology. And to see locals taking material from those exposed veins, crushing it and recovering gold reminds us of the wisdom of artisanal miners. They help us explore. Meanwhile, the IP should show us mineralization at much deeper levels and that helps determine where and when we drill. Three kilometres west of Wild Boar is the prospect called Canada Wall, where initial exploration indicates a copper system and it appears both these prospects are connected. Copper demand is at an all-time high, so we are trying to beat the rainy season (which starts in June) to get as much exploration and IP finished as possible, so I urge you to stay tune for additional news releases. Mike remains in Cambodia actively overseeing and moving multiple projects forward; a great deal of activity is taking place despite the restrictions of COVID, and we have no intention of slowing down. We thank you for your support and look to maintain regular updates.
