It's possible ....

the volume is due to drillers buying.  It is not uncommon for them to scoop up shares before results seeing as how they are fairly in-the-know of what the results will be.  Not saying that's the case here but seeing as how the company put out a release denying knowledge of any reason it certainly is a possibility.

This is weird. It's still trading like there is something going on. Maybe it really is the drillers know something big is happening?
