"Is this really required?" No, it's not required when the company has the option to slow progress or maybe even mothball the projects to save the money you don't them spending.

To be clear. I am not bashing as I think the company has much appeal as far as properties, private land, great proven deposits etc. I hold many shares. However, with the silver sector being absolutely hated and the stock trading at 3-4 year lows, selling a PP of that size seems in very very poor judgement.
