A comparison to Bontera could be the Atlantic gold

buyout..Atlantic gold had 2 million ounces and was in production at the time ST-Barbara purchased ...Atlantic had 4 pits wich were within a 100 klm distance...The initial production was at 80,000 ounces a year at a low AISC of $650 BUT NOW IS AROUND $900... THE BUYOUT PRICE WAS $800,000,000.00 WICH WOULD GIVE bONTERA AT 103,000,000 MILLION SHARES A BUYOUT PRICE OF $7.76 A SHARE...

NOW is there lots of gold in them there hills ....yes but you only get paid for what you found and in the M&I CATEGORIES...THAT'S Y OSISKO HAS 21 DRILLS HUMMING HE WANTS TO GET PAID...I WOULD LOVE TO SEE 21 DRILLS ON GLADIATOR BUT THAT WOULD COST US 300,000,000 MORE SHARE DILUTION.. GLTA   P,S IT'S ALL ABOUT SHARE DILUTION THAT DETERMINES THE FINAL PAYOUT...

You certainly bring up valid points idlefreebird. I'm thinking there is a lot more to this camp than we are privy to. In my humble opinion they are spread out very thin for good reasons. It's all about the bottom line and timing of events. From the get go KL gang has been very close. Kl hired our ex ceo and he knows lots about Bonterra. Looking next door at Osisko seems incredibly painful ...more

GOLDHAPPY , you are right we are in for the ride ..for KL they have lots of capital just in share value they are a 14 billion dollar company...they aquired Detour in a share buyout no cash traded hands and same would happen in this camp...they have no debt and $600 plus million in the bank but let's say they would take the camp out , they would offer a 40% premium above the share price...that& ...more

I wouldn't count on a merger with them...a takeover of both maybe ..but if it's from a major,  we don't move the needle for them or there stock price...it will just be merged in to there value ,...but gives them mine life...KL for example if they bought out both Osisko and Bontera, KL stock won't be going from $55 to $110 for 100% profits because of this reuinion..so if your ...more

Stupid, I'll decide when and if I'll buy. I see it this way, I can wait for a solid uptrend to develop in BTR then get in. This way my money isn't wasting valuable time waiting for it to happen. It's in stocks already moving. I can sell something else and be buying in a couple minutes. That's the advange of not averaging down over a period of 5 years.  It looks like ...more

Stupid, I try and learn from my mistakes. You should try it some time. Oh and I forgot to mention. that mine in Mongolia where the AISC is only $0.49 per pound of copper. They are currently only mining the low grade ore. The high grade mining is expected to begin in October 2022 and last decades.  Right on cue, I see ford just announced it is going to introduce the electronic ford  F ...more
