It looks like they did. As of Oct 1 there were only 200,000 short and likely most of that was covered by shaking out the weak hands over the past couple of days. It's sad that the shorters could drive the price down (on low volume) and then easily cover when the weak ones sold out in panic. There was NO reason for this share price to be driven down to this level again other than manipulation

I just hope this isn't for a financing somewhere around .50 I have seen stocks halted for a financing in the past.Mgt should have some results back so I'm hoping that is what this is about.   let's hope they're strong, especially on a strong day for gold, that would be awesome!  GLA

IR  said they were working out the financing last week. There are so many permutations and combinations possible the price level of the financing is probably irrelevant.

I was surprised at the talk of re-financing.....they took down quite a bit of cash from warrants (half million??) as per their recent NR a month or two ago.  Also, the last financing was oversubscribed by 1.5Mil$.... with 5Mil$ going towards the 2009 program I figured they had enough cash in the till for extending the program.  I'm very interested to see how this plays out.GLTA,T10
