First Energy

Legacy presents in the morning. Hopefully pick up some tidbits on well statuses.

Well listened to the presentation, pretty low key as far as Alberta Bakken. They are encouraged so far with the results. Spring Coulee is on production but no specific numbers, Kipp is flowing back but from the sounds of it will be on production soon. Yanko originally said both were on production then corrected himself so who knows. 3D will occur start of 2012 then drilling will start based on the ...more

SEPAC as the last big shot at info wasn't much of a shot at all, but for Yanko saying that they are encouraged. It's yet another testament to the idea that they are all serious about keeping with tight hole status and not releasing flow results and may still be looking for more land acquisitions. The last addition to their acreage was not by accident and tells us how encouraged in the ...more

Ya I agree with the tight hole thing. I'm sure Legacy has no plans to abandon us and this is were the eventual growth will come for them. Short term though if I were Legacy I would drill Spearfish wells over Alberta Bakken. That is short sighted and short term but it puts less stress on BWD and LEG cash wise and lets LEG build production. Also it will be nice now because every month more and ...more

A bunch of zoomers here on this board. Last I checked oil was trading around $100 per boe and there is probably $40bln sitting in the rock across the basin.. HMMMMMM Also, there are a number of m&a candidates on the block right now (on the block)

What is a zoomer??? Someone just needs to crack the code on how to get it out. Mind you if I didn't think we would figure it out I wouldn't waste my time with BWD and LEG.Who are the M and A canidates? Just any SAB junior?NLR

Two private companies have their acreage up for sale

What juniors? Raimount farmed there land out to Shell already. Argosy has a fairly new presentation up and its interesting. Our Kipp well, and northern lands, are in line with a Torc well, both Argosy wells and a Canadian Costal Resources well. The Torc well is tested and waiting on a facililty build, the CCR well has 450 BOE/D facility constructed and the Argosy well IPd at I think 350 BOEd. Torc ...more

I will inbox on the two private co's. I think the GSY ppt is hilarious - the trend line anyways. One thing is certain, the closer to the mountains (and more over pressured) the better ;). Also, I think there is a bigger resource here which few companies have spoken of (non Bakken) - some food for thought
