Trudeau attacked Coal again G20.

He is under pressure to leave ALL coal in the ground and appears to be sympathetic (yesterdays news from the G20 summit.) May just be lip service on his part but he is a candy as wimp and needs votes in Parliament.

No he actually made a point about banning thermal. We can't help lift these developing nations out of the dirt without steel/met coal and there are very few countries with quality reserves. I'm not worried about it

No he was actually pressed to leave all coal in the ground by environmentalist groups.

The easy Gov win  to prove he is serious is to ban the future export of US thermal coal from BC. I believe we ship the same or more US Thermal Coal from BC ports than Canadian Thermal Coal.  That would open our ports to export more BC Met Coal and help speed up more green energy projects globally. Think Hydro, Wind Mills, Nuclear, to mitigate rising sea levels this will require new and ...more
