New boss is the same as the old boss and never forget it

Aucontrairell I appreciate your dream of a shareholder friendly run company. Please do not lose sight these are bad people from top to bottom. Directors, OMG. Advisors and experts, nothing a few bucks can't buy. Even if the share price increases that will not change anything about what type of people we have followed. It doesn't matter what title they have or university credentials or even the country they reside in they are rotten to the core, all of them. They are attracted to each other. Transparency has never been great even under Bill. He was a crook that buried many secrets from shareholders. The new boss is just the same as the old boss but I will give credit to them for cleaning up Bill's fraud. The only reason we have any information because of a third party partner. Without them we would have nothing which is almost what we are trading at. After half a cent you cannot go much lower.

I hear you T4C.  We have been at this a long time and it hasn't gone anywhere unless you are a director and earning a salary.  I wonder whatever happened to the First Quantum copper mine located next to Sarita Este?  Now we have golden minerals involved and it's sort of a trio I suppose if the ore body turns out to be economic to mine.  Is FQ proceeding?  Bill and ...more

Here is the latest on First Quantum's Taca Taca proposed project.  Looks like FQ  is trying to push this project through but still in the review process.  If Sarita proves out to have economical grade gold,  it would greatly enhance FQ current low grade gold on the Taca Taca property.  So in theory it could be something they would want.  Of course now that Golden ...more

I should have said where.  The last one I went to with another shareholder was when Bill  and Judith was still alive.  We drove up from Seattle and Bill used some motion to delay the meeting so we were there for 5 mintues,  had a cup of coffee with Ed and drove back home.....

SMH,  RE your story is like a metaphor for the whole company. If a guy cant even organize and pull off a simple meeting of shareholders how can he run a company?   I know, good question.  He couldn't.
Comment by RareEarth1 on May 03, 2023 1:38pm
He knew exactly what he was doing when he pushed out the meeting.  It was during the upheaval with control at the time.  Nothing to do with being disorganized.  You obviously don't seem to recall the event or timeframe,  or even knew of it at all., But that is all in the past and its time to stop pissing and moaning about it as far as I'm concerned.

You are correct RE.  I have no recollection of the event, nor the time frame.  In addition, I've never been to one of their meetings, and have no intention of going to one in the future.   The value of this company in my portfolio is now less than the amount I would need to pay to travel and attend, and your anecdote didn't exactly boost my desire to attend either.  ...more

In my discussion with Lorne last Friday he confirmed no directors are getting any salary and the only person getting compensated is an hourly variable employee that does admin work when needed.  Their cash burn is down to nothing virtually.  Other than that it was a very interesting  and  very positive conversation.

Thank you RareEarth1. I have emailed Lorne a few times for a call, with no success. I'm happy you got to talk to him. Also good to hear they are not taking salaries. I know Lorne has a lot of shares, so his incentives seem mostly aligned with ours. Could you tell us more about the very interesting and very positive conversation? Thanks!

In a nutshell they have cash in the bank,  have prepaid UBC for the testing that is now under way for the cesium extraction process.  They think they can extrract the cesium using much less reagents which if  the tests prove out they will look to build a pilot plant and produce cesium that they will prove to be economically feasable.  He said the money is there if the ...more

Awesome, thanks so much for the update RareEarth!

Awesome is as awesome does.  I don't doubt RareEarth reporting what he heard accurately at all. I'm sure that was the conversation. So like everyone else I await some positive results...and again, positive as it extends to shareholders.
