Golden Minerals recent Dev.
Some interesting developments at Golden Minerals last week as Warren Rehn their longtime CEO "retired" last week. I suspect he was asked to leave but they are calling it a retirement. On top of that they filed for a 75M $ shelf offering. What the use of that shelf is speculation but I was told over a month ago they expected to hear about the status of the Desierto 1 claim in 6-8 weeks and expected a positive outcome.
The goal was after the good results with the Sarita Este drilling they were going to drill Desierto 1 but a oversight by a Golden attorney cause that property to be take by the local Salta government. Golden filed an appeal to get it back and that is the decision we are waiting on so that window is now close by and hopefully it will be released here back to GM/CCD soon. CCD is also contributing to the cost of the drill program as well according the agreement with Golden.
Maybe it's all coincidental with the timing, maybe not. Lets hope for a positive ruling and that Warrens plan is implemented by the new CEO.
