CELL.v Starts New Exploratory Phase at its Clayton Valley Grid Battery Metals Inc. (Trading as CELL.v or EVKRF for US markets) recently initiated its 2024 Exploration Program at the Clayton Valley Lithium Project.
The exploration kicked off with a Magnetotelluric (MT) geophysical survey carried out by KLM Geoscience, a prominent player in Nevada's geophysical exploration sector.
The MT survey, employing cutting-edge equipment and methodologies, is aimed at pinpointing potential lithium brine reservoirs, discerning structural formations conducive to brine accumulation, and delineating basin floor morphology. With plans for 85 station sites, the survey employs 100m inline and crossline electric field dipoles spaced 250m apart, with line spacings of 500m.
This MT survey will be succeeded by an extensive soil sampling initiative overseen by Rangefront Exploration. The amalgamated findings will guide the identification of drilling targets for forthcoming exploration phases later in the year.
Grid anticipates harnessing these survey outcomes to deepen its comprehension of Clayton Valley's lithium potential, positioning the company for further exploration and development prospects within the region.
Notably, the project is adjacent to Albemarle Corporation's Silver Peak Mine, the only lithium brine producer in North America, further enhancing its appeal as a lithium asset.
