New Lows in WTI & Gas under serious pressure

We are beginning to test new lows.  The Canadian Dollar is helping oil with it falling against the US dollar.  That being said, funds are moving away from Oil at this time.  If investment advisers are not calling their clients to discuss the downside risk, that is really strange.

There is a term in law called "negligent behaviour"  Investor need to be diligent at these times.  Do not be negligent in your review of your investments.  Rely on your advisers who manages your portfoklio to explain the downside risk.  They are professionals and they have all the tools to advise their clients on what they are seeing in the general market and also specific to companies.

Please do not close your eyes to the current situation.  The current downturn is not a blip.  This is a serious downturn.  We have growing production/supplies and we have falling demand.  Economics tell me that supply/demand its out of balance.  What does that translate to = downward pressure on oil and gas.

By the way, investors need to be aware of what is happening in the UTICA.   Just was told that a well came on at 76 million cubic feet a day.  Yes one well.  Why does this cause us a serious concern.  The Marcellous is already disrupting  markets with its high volume wells.  Now companies are moving their capital to invest into the Utica.  The wells are even more prolific.  Please have a look at this website to understand the Utica Shale play.

These wells are very deep and costly but the well performance is significant.

The development of the Utica could be disrupting to the Canadian Gas Market.  Ontario and Quebec could be provided gas post infrastructure from the US.  This will displace Alberta and Saskatchewan production potentially.

Just my thoughts.  Trade your stocks on the advise of your adviser.

Yes I do agree with your comments, my analysis, as an Albertan, is actually just as depressing BUT KCK is all over the HUGE Montney gas fields, so they have to be worth something.  Our big problems are the vast & numerous conventional Gas Fields in Alberta, Encana, Husky, CNQ, etc .. All of this gas has become extremely compromised because the production volumes are so low. Now 500+ wells ...more

Do not disagree with you that these guys are in the right resource. I think the real issue is the amount of debt they have. The montney is forsure where a company wants to be but with there higher debt load relative to theif facility combined with a significant amount of expiries as Value pointed out - this thing could come under a lot of pressure.

I am going to bundle up the questions and send them off to the managment. I'll report back when i hear back from them but i think we (shareholders) deserve to know whats going on. Using net debt from 4 months+ ago and building economics off of December 31 price decks is not acceptable.
