Which one is not like the others?
 

Paramount Resources: Insider Ownership = ~50%
Tourmaline Oil Corp: Insider Ownership : ~30%
Canadian Energy Services: Insider Ownership: ~16%
Kicking Horse Energy: ~3.8% 

This is the reason I am not long - though full discretion I am long the other 3 names.

Not promoting those names but this is what I look at when investing.

I want to know if this does well shareholders (incl. mgmt) benefit but if it goes the other way they are hurt - its only fair.

It's all about alignment - are they working for you (the shareholder)  or themselves?

Harding and Sully are simply not wealthy individuals. Sully is a technical up and comer accumulating as the company succeeds. Harding became CEO with moderate net worth and is also accumulating via options over time based on success. Your point is irrelevant here. Not everyone in oil and gas is Clay Riddell. Perhaps you should go talk to a broker or Financial Advisor so they can roll their eyes.

You are right, most are not Clay Riddell but they are not accumulating at all as there last sizeable option excecise was met with a sell in the open market (common shares). They are already paid very well for the size of company they are and if they did belive in the company they would not sell sizeable chunks of stock until this company gets sold or grows to a certain standpoint.
