Speculation of 'something'... Or not...

Of course we can't forget all of the speculation that Mark is having dinner w/ Elon Musk every night is just that... pure speculation.  Assays could simply be delayed and there may be no other news to release.  Simple.  Stock price has been languishing simple b/c of lack of newsflow and overhang from flow-through financing.  Again - simple.

That said re: flow-through financing... approx 3M FT shares at $4.10 went to 62 placees... that's an average order of just under 50K shares or approx $200K... not bad but considering the tax banafits of the FTs hardly deep institutional pockets.

Share price has been in a downward trend *SINCE EARLY MAY*!  Depsite all the webinars and promo.

I am hopeful but hard to dismiss te facts here.

Mark said on a Northern Miner webinar this morning that the lab waits are now 12 to 16 weeks delayed. Remember most assay press releases have had more than just a couple of holes. Last estimate was we had 80 plus in the lab , so there could be many more to come still for the rest of the year once they begin to roll in. Don't believe they are compelled to release within any set time. Unless ...more

It has now been 18 weeks since the discovery at MacDiarmid that was announced on May 18. If the delays are up to 16 weeks, than that means they are sitting on data that could either break this down trend, or push it lower.  Looking back at these releases, "The first 3 holes" and "The first 2 holes" intersected mineralization consitant with Crawford, but no mentions on ...more

Pretty sure I remember - could be mistaken - CNC stating about a month ago labs are delayed 12 weeks - this was in one fo those interviews or promo videos.  Aanyone else remember tthis?  Now 4 weeks later it's increased to up to 16 weeks?  Really?  As someone else pointed out they've had results pending for at least 18 weeks.  Here's a question for the board.. ...more

That is a good question DrNo. Also, they could decide to wait until they get all their results and then release them each once a week over 2 months to gain momentum.

What I have read is there is a shortage of oxygen tanks & that limits the assay labs ability to process. I have no metallurgy experience so I don't know if that rings true. Medical demand comes before lab demand in a pandemic. If the labs need oxygen for a process & don't have it, they have to stop until it shows up.

That is good to know, but we'd appreciate hearing that from the horse's mouth. We should be getting regular updates as to the status of the delays, and the reasons why - specifically say, the Assay Labs are short of Oxygen, because it's all been diverted due to the 4th wave.

The oxygen shortage is a real thing, many hospitals are running short. I was unaware labs need oxygen for assaying, thanks for that as that would make total sense to the extended delays.  So many shortages happening, just had the cable guy here for a cable repair and they are even running low on cable splitters. All we can do is weather this out. We know we have a mine, just how much bigger ...more

Just heard from a friend in the automotive business that some car manufacturers can't offer certain trims anymore due to a shortage in..................  leather !!!    leather ?!?!

Assays coming - no doubt. But obviously the market doesn't appreciate the delays and people might put their money into other opportunities thinking CNC share price will further slide. Hence the low volume. Or - without being serious ;-) they put it into TMC - a company engaged in picking up nodules from the ocean's bottom, thinking that's the next nickel rush. If you want to be ...more
