Arctic Star Exploration (TSXV: ADD) is expected to release the latest results of its exploration program being conducted at its Diagras project in the Northwest Territories. The firm released a brief update on the matter mid-day on Friday.
The results of the caustic fusion performed by the Saskatchewan Research Council’s diamond laboratory on samples collected at both the Arbutus and Sequoia kimberlites. The firm had previously indicated that the results were expected in July and August, however those timelines were delayed.
The company is now expecting to to see the results become available at the end of this week. Once received, results are expected to be released by the Diagras Joint Venture, which Arctic Star currently holds an 81.5% interest in. The remainder is held by Margaret Lake Diamonds (TSXV: DIA), whom owns an 18.5% stake.
Once received, the results will be used for the planning of further exploration on the property. The joint venture is said to be working in unison for the purpose of planning, permitting, and budgeting the 2023 exploration program.
The 2023 program will follow the program conducted earlier this year, which amounted to nine holes drilled 1,098 metres in aggregate. 3,295 line kilometres were also flown for a geophysics program as the firm looks to generate further exploration targets on the property.
