Has anyone else picked up on this statement?  More than just refinery activity going on here.   Contract to construct the cobalt sulfate crystallizer has been awarded and will be built in the United States
Comment by Marshall on May 17, 2021 8:18am
The cobalt sulfate crystallizer will be built in the United States and shipped to site in less than 44 weeks. This equipment is the last step in First Cobalt's hydrometallurgical refining process and takes cobalt concentrated in an aqueous solution into a powder called cobalt sulfate. A crystallizer consists of various mechanical components including heat exchangers, pumps, piping, ...more

Agree. Big partnership in the works. A Can/Am strategic project is what I foresee. So much positive talk, along with the excellerated activity at BOTH the refinery and Iron Creek leads us to believe the Biden Administration is interested/involved. And, although there is nothing to point a finger at as of yet, the recently (increased) emphasis on the low carbon footprint at the refinery along with ...more

Correction. $3.00 US minimum bid, for a minimum of 90 consecutive TRADING days, along with other requirements. So, we shall see! I can only think of one way that happens. Can someone else throw out ideas? No one wants to think reverse stock split but....how do we get to US market without one?
Comment by Goldfather on May 17, 2021 11:07am
Per B27's info ....well then at .29us today  , TM must have some tremendous News coming out on his promised Q2 announce on the Finance Partner (s) putting up US$45 M  to get Listed on a US big board . ( Q2 ends in  6  1/2 weeks )
Comment by Starkicker on May 18, 2021 10:00am
There is no way they reverse split just to list on Nasdaq. There would be a shareholder revolt (myself included). "Hopefully soon" does not mean imminent, it could be a year or two out, probably post refinery startup.
Comment by Goldfather on May 18, 2021 10:24am
Starman .... yes that makes sense post refinery . The  'hopefully soon '  comment got attention , and is not logical at now .29us . His optimism is encouraging on a New Exchange and hi price but  TM should clarify this as it just may be depressing the sp now.

I've invested enough in small caps to know I don't trust small cap CEOs. Retail investor interests are soon forgotten when things go bad or when they take off. Approaching TM and FCC with extreme caution more so because a lot of what is happenng in this space is beyond their control.
Comment by Marshall on May 18, 2021 12:00pm
Would you care to elaborate on your fears.
Comment by Marshall on May 18, 2021 12:16pm
Please don't  take this as a personal attack Starkicker. You seem capable of a reasonable discussion otherwise I wouldn't bother asking.  I am curious as to what you're basing your concerns on.
Comment by Starkicker on May 19, 2021 10:00am
Hey Marshall, thanks for your question. First off, I think Trent is very capable and straightforward and has a high level of integrity. However, by nature, startups/small caps need capital, and CEOs in this position are more salesman than anything. To mine the Idaho tract, they need $16M to get the operation to the starting gate. For a company valued at $138M, that is a lot, and the money needs to ...more

The black flies are out. Time to start working on the refinery.
Comment by Marshall on May 19, 2021 11:24am
Fair enough Starkicker.  Nothing wrong with being cautious, the market can be cruel. However FCC has a temendous tail wind.  The venture timing, uniquenous of the refinery, government backing, FCC management, project timeline and overall interest in going green in North America is the perfect recipe for success IMO.  This will take time, probably not fast enough for most on this ...more

Goodday Marshall, wise words again, thank you! Do you get your information, except from research and search in the (inter)national news media, sometimes from FCC insiders and/or close observation of residents?? I am curious, because that would be helpful and costly.
Comment by Goldfather on May 20, 2021 12:37pm
i am a bit surprised we dont get more news lately , since TM did comment  few weeks back he's already been talking w/ financers for 8-9 months now. I'm thinking theres more involved than just the Finance announcement . We'll probably get a clue when the SP starts ticking up from the .34 we've been seeing for so long now.   jmo

Agreeed. A long way to go in Idaho and a lot of money needed down the line. From my understanding, cash from the refinery will not produce the cash required to move ahead with Idaho. It could certainly take a dent out of potential financing needs, maybe.  Large companies circle like vulchers and wait for opportunities.
Comment by NorthInvest53 on May 18, 2021 12:34pm
Agreed. Trent is methodical when he speaks (he is a lawyer by trade too) and he will say what he feels he needs to say / can say (which is fine) about FCC plan and intentions. I am no bashing Trent, but, Methodical CEO's and team members have intentions/plans that are kept in the board room.  I still wonder if they are dressing up the bride for a willing husband...meaning..set up ...more

Ok 27.... thanks more good info , and I hadnt picked up on TM's inflection toward Elon. Good catch.  And I'm sure my googled info on US listings isn't totally accurate...... just seems we got a long way to go. But if TM says " hopefully soon" .... maybe so. Glta
