Of course he would. It's good optics. It's certainly not uncommon for a CEO to invest in his own company. No applause there. It's required behavior. Having said that - with all the good fundamentals announced this stock has truly not taken off. One would expect, I don't know- 50 cents? $0.60? It's over 10 months now since the stock had a rally. The last one occurred circa ...more

The US$60 million facility expansion remains on schedule to be commissioned in Q4'2022 I found that line odd; price went up, timing seems to have been pushed out.  I assume they have not yet built anything?  And their designs are reliant on several other buildings being constructed on the existing    By the end of 2022, we will be the only producer of ...more

As I am certain that you know, many words have various meanings depending upon the context in which they are used. One of the sub definitions of commissioned is 1) In active service 2) in use or in usable condition. Pretty sure that this is the context that "commissioned" is being used by Mell in this instance.

Ok, so a "sub" definition then. Ok.  No commercial capacity until 2023 then? Do you believe that would also be a "commissioned" thing?  Having a hard time wraping my head aorund them being done the build, and running a functioning facility, by YE 2022.  "Commissioning" it by the end of the 2022, with the final permit approved, that I can digest.

Now we're on the same page. Refinery put into service 4Q'22 and then ramp up time to commercial production in early '23. It will take some time to get to full production which hopefully will be in late second quarter or 3Q.

I do commissioning from time to time in my line of work and it basically means the start-up and operation of the machinery with experts on site to work out any kinks and make sure everything is functioning properly. The investor presentation shows 1000 Tons production in Q4 2022 which would likely be a result of the commissioning activities. FCC will be in a position to profit from that production ...more

Commisioned in this regard is not as in a military Commision.  Haven worked in the construction industry for over 4 decades I have been involved/managed this sort of thing several times.  In order to declare that the facility has been commisioned means that the process has been proven, debugged, run, put through its paces etc.  It means that a Commisioning Agent or Agents, and ...more

Exactly Silverado. In this case, commissioning is a huge positive step and like I said, FCC will be in a position to profit from it as well. Not every industry is like that. For instance, if you commission a new engine on a Ferry you don't sell tickets and load it full of people. You head to sea empty burning cash to complete the commissioning.  Also, they have hired the best in the ...more
