Frustrated as how all good news evaporates.

Good morning all. I speak only for me. But I must confess I'm frustrated by how every positive catalyst announced during the past year completely evaporates. I imagine that Electra could announce the good Lord himself as president and CEO and the stock might go one or two cents up only to fall back within a few days. There's simply is too many stocks out there - we need to reverse split to eliminate them. Every catalyst in the past year has gone nowhere. I'm hoping Trent will get on this and do what has to be done soon. The pie is sliced Way too thin - and Trent has said there's too many stocks out there. I hope we get on this quick. Exhausted with waiting.

Hey Goatburner.  You may be correct but I think there is one other thing at play here and it's "wait and see".  While governments are pushing us into EV's or AEV's as the wokies call them, business in general is not embracing and investing as much and as quickly as you might expect. So goes with Electra.  To date Electra or FCC has produced nothing but talk ...more

It is not the company I invested in either. Thanks Silverad0 to let these other investors know that FCC or Now Elctra has produced nothing but """ TALK """. Like the movie says. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!! Once we see this the game will start to change. And, as for Goatburner I will say this, like Mortin Downey use to say " ZIP IT" in other words stop the promoting ...more

Agreed Blackbriar. Not even at the starting gate yet and 1 million things can go right or wrong and all of them are out of the executive's control.

Jesus boys grow up or sell.

I'll be selling somewhere around the end of Q2 2022 but have no plans to grow up. :)

Yes, the stock has been going nowhere for over a year. Look at the share price numbers and you will see it has been doing nothing ever since the threat of share consolation was first announced in 2020 by the management around last September People do not want to pay up for a stock that might consolidate and would then sink like a stone, as most consolidated share prices do.  Announce that a ...more

Personally, I am far less worried about consolidation as I am about the pending U.S. tax incentive on American made EVs. From CBC: The bill contains a tax credit for U.S. car buyers worth up to $12,500 on certain electric vehicles, if they are made in the U.S. and with union labour. There are fears that if passed the bill will shut Canada out of electric vehicle production and devastate this ...more

Do you know if the bill will only affect EVs or will it also affect raw materials (e.g., cobalt, nickel, lithium).  If it only were to affect EVs, it could be beneficial for Electra being so close to EV manufacturing in the US, wouldn't it? Thank you for sharing
Comment by Minlog on Dec 11, 2021 11:39am
It applies to vehicle assembly only, NOT raw materials and inputs. Electra's business model is therefore NOT affected. The USA can't supply its own raw materials anyway, even if they wanted to. Also,Electra doesn't have to sell its products to the US. They can be sold to Euorope and Asia and also be used domestically. Also, Electra has a 5 year off take off contract signed with UK ...more

The sale price to Stratton will be: Sale price will be based on prevailing market price at the time of shipment

Thanks for looking into that Minlog. I saw in the news report it had said assemblage but I was in the process of looking into the details of raw materials. If true, the US tax incentive might even be a boost for ELBM as it will force Canada to reinvent its auto sector.
