CFO

CFO went to a senior precious metal producer and is highly regarded.
Comment by dothemathpeople on Apr 26, 2022 7:48am
Which one is highly regarded, the CFO? Or the metals producer? Curious as to why the CFO would exit elbm now.  Isn't the best yet to come? New highs making new highs? I'm sure the books are fine.

i believe the CFO left for greener pastures in a global mining company but he said that he plans to hold his ELBM shares
Comment by dothemathpeople on Apr 26, 2022 11:01am
LMAO...yeah theres no way he left so that he COULD sell his shares eh? I mean, if he said that, it must be true.  Right? lolol...wow.
Comment by NatureBoy on Apr 26, 2022 11:31am
....have to agree, math. A 'gentleman's agreement' to exit with a mere (and meaningless) statement NOT to sell is not outside the realm of possibilities? Let's get real folks and concentrate on tangible deliverables. Though not devastating, let's acknowledge at least that the OPTICS of the CFO's timing of departure is not flattering. Eyes on the road, please...not the rear ...more

So far, the 18 for 1 consolidation has produced noticeable results: 1 - a quick CFO exit after heading it up 2 - a fallen share price so he cannot sell his shares at the previous higher pre-consolidation price 3 - The good news for new buyers is the consolidated shares are getting cheaper; so it is easier to become a shareholder now. Wasn't that the purpose - to encourage new buyers ...more

That CFO must know something that we don't. Is it good or bad??? You said consolidation has produced noticeable results. It was up to $6.78 in the blink of an eye and now down another 16 cents per share to $5.40. so on the scale to the old price $5.40 on new  represents 30 cents on the old. So tell me what has changed? Not a thing. You must be a promoter and alot of us frown on that with ...more

hold the course folks. Volume is up since the consolidation and that was the point. More good news coming, eventually there will be revenue and 3 - 10x ROI

The high trade was coincidental with elbm "ringing" the closing bell on the Nasdaq.  Another tout.  Another photo op.  Another video clip.  Another sound bite. So you're right, no change.  oh and Trent is the promoter BB44.

Blackbriar44@ If and when you are investor it is necessary to believe in your management. If you cann't it might be better to leave it. The CEO added 40,737 (733,266 pre consolidation) shares in the past weeks. https://twitter.com/trentmell/status/1521202448991494146?s=21&t=9p1ff7ogLBpSmaWQrNXUAw What do you think, why he is doing that...?

WernHerr take a look at the SELLS bud.  Now the question is WTH is going on?  That is where the slide is coming from.  The only thing that is going to help this stock is cash flow.

Trent Mell -- 50,000 shares sold out in April alone, bailing at (more or less) $6, leaving (more or less) 281,000 in holdings How does this mesh with Herr Wern's "confidence" hypothesis?
Comment by WernHerr on May 04, 2022 9:31am
Tim2Agami@ Where did you get these numbers from? According to SEDI filings, Trent currently holds 218,873 (pre consolidation 3,939,714). At the end of January 2022, Trent had 3,206,459 shares. He has thus increased his holdings by 733,255 (post consolidation 40,736). https://ceo.ca/api/sedi/?symbol=ELBM&amount=&transaction=&insider= Why should I question my own "confidence ...more

Silverad0@ As a result, after exercising his warrants, etc., and making sales necessary to fund the transaction, Trent now holds 40,737 more shares than at the start of 2022. What's not to understand here? Is it that hard?
Comment by Tim2Agami on May 04, 2022 11:54am
Using your own CEO. CA link, Mein Herr (rather than relying on Mell's Twitter account), you can see the shaving away of shares from his account by way of dispositions on the afternoon of 29 April, at the rate of 5000 post-consolidated shares (90,000 shares), every minute. Then there are the similar dispostions of shares from the Watts account about the same time. Here was your reference link ...more

Ok.  So our Trent it looks like cashed in warrants, resricted shares, performance shares etc and bought comman shares.  He then cashed in $270,00.00 or so, maybe more, and still ended up with yes more shares (common) than he had pre-consolidation.  Im not an expert in this but at first glance it really is a WTF is going on and after a bit of sorting out the guy paid himself a nice ...more

It looks like somebody's plan to make a lot of money on the share consolidation  backfired..  Shares were worth more before this consolidation and US listing It would be amusing, if it were not costing shareholders so much already. By the way, did Trent's personal post consolidation exercise just create more shares? I thought he said earlier that we had too many and had to ...more

17Digger@ But it's easy to counter and say they (stocks) used to be also a lot lower sometime(s) before the consolidation, right? You should try to consider the overall market and its current capers in your consideration. Otherwise it becomes a very one-sided assessment, and these are almost always wrong.
