A reason for being

Good morning all. It's been a long time since I posted here. So much combat and negativity here. I think each one of us has to ask ourselves - why are we here? What is our main goal here? I would suggest it can't be money. If anybody is in any stock it can't be just about the money. You need more than that - a reason for being here. We all know money comes money goes. Market up market down each and every day same old same old. So it's pretty safe to assume we need more than just talk about the SP ad nauseam. Since I'm local to Cobalt Ontario, it's my area and we welcome Electra coming here and creating jobs locally my perspective might be a little different. My investment here is about building a company - a local company than employees local people and supports young families and their children. This is my main reason for being here. I don't give a damn in the stock goes up stuck goes down - the project is going forward, locally people are getting hired here and the future looks good for our area and Electra is a part of that. I don't care if I make a dollar here as long as my investment helps prop up our local economy. And if I lose the 20 grand I have in here - I'm good with that because I tried to do the best I could for my community. Best wishes to everybody and I hope to see more chat about what is really important to them besides money. Not that I hate money guys - you just need more than that in life

since I'm not lucky to live in Cobalt,,,, a...ya ... I'm here for the $$ too.

No one who lives in Cobalt is lucky to live there.  It's pretty close to a ghost town, losing residents annually.  And the winters are brutal.

I thought the original argument for listing on Nasdaq was to open opportunity and to appeal to a wider American investor base, thus broadening the source of shareholder attention and financial commitment for the "North American" market. So, help me to understand how a narrow focus on local job opportunities (primary reason) in Cobalt, Ontario will attract the serious investment dollars

Thank you Goatburner for your "local" perspective and for your focus on more that "just" financial gain when investing time and various resources in an enlarged purpose, which some here will not understand. Multiple opinions can be useful to reflection and decision processes by all of us, but on the  topic of Reverse Split, expectations and impact-timing seem poorely

But I like your angle.  Easier to have it now, when the stock just doesn't seem to be going higher.  I do hope it all comes true, the legacy, the generational employer!  I simply still lack confidence tho, that this will get it built in time to make a diff.  Cobalt , and their residents, should get into the cannabis sector.  Plenty of empty facilities that
