I smell take over OR Sale OR...

Hello,
Time is ticking, money is lacking - It is like an unfinished house being built...almost near completion and then ...money runs out. Someone (company) is gonna get a great deal when things start being sold off or the whole company is up for sale...I highly doubt the Government is going to put up the amount of money needed to finsish construction. A biger more established company can buy it up, finish the build and incorpate it into their business with out requesting government handouts....

Not looking good. Very Frustrating.

Seeing how it will take 12 months to finish the refinery once funding is secured, we should know pretty soon if there will be government funding for this either from provincial and federal governments or US DoD so Electra can fulfil it's contract with LG Energy. If they can't close the funding gap soon then yes, another company that can make progress on this disappointing project will have ...more

Yes, and why would the government's give more? Likely that bridge was burnt since they were duped with wrong information to cough up the first $10 million. We were all duped!  One of the big risks involved was whether to trust the information provided by Trent M. I took that risk since 2017 and doubled down several times.... Very low chance I return any profit on this one.

555rookie I found myself in the same situation as you.  The whole plan as presented sounded very reasonable and FCC had a leg up on the competition.  What competition there was that is.  What I didn't count on was, in my opinion, the outright dishonesty and incompetance of Trent and his large team.   In stark contrast is VCT.  Three as in 3 guys have achieved what ...more

Burnt Toast.  Thats what you smell.  This entrie deal is fried.  Bring in Mr. White.

It's hard to imagine the government would provide billions in subsidies for battery makers and not chip in $80m to ELBM, which would be the continent's only socially and environmentally responsible cobalt sufate, especially when there is already talk of another ELBM refinery being built in Becancour. Hard to say what the backroom political relationships are, which is pretty much what this ...more

I may be wrong, but, the money given to the battery makers include companies that are very established. As you said, we invested in a start up...with which comes risk....It will be interesting if the government helps a Canadian Start up that has good "environmental, social, and indigenous" intentions OR keeps giving money to established global companies who have head offices elsewhere. I ...more

You are completely right, but the main reason for the money was to on shore the global need for battery metals. Eliminating our dependence on China. Still a massive gamble, but if they somehow get it, going to be a 10 bagger.

BTW, 400k shares sold yesterday over double the average. Can someone post that sheet on who the major buyers were?
Comment by Silverad0 on Aug 30, 2023 12:33pm
10 bags of what though?  Issue is they, Trent and the boys don't know how to get the plant finished.  as for the ESG part that's the ten bags and won't contribute anything other than virtue signaling BS

Just sells your shares then Silverado, collect your capital loss tax gain and move on. No one will judge you for it.
Comment by 17Digger on Aug 30, 2023 7:35pm
You 10 bagger forecast will get the share price up to about where it was before the conolidation anvil got dropped on the share price. At one point it was 60 cents x 18 = $10.80 Canadian a consolidated share before the financial engineering gimmicks got started by the guy still there running ELBM. Should he have not walked the plank by now for this and the rest of the incompetent decisions that ...more

With just 57M total shares the only thing this stock has going for it is it can move a lot on little volume. If the tall foreheads decide more dilution is necessary it will be a lost cause for sure.
Comment by dothemathpeople on Sep 01, 2023 6:45am
Nonsense.  What's moving "alot"?  What's "on a little"?  I notice it doesnlt really move up, save for the few times per year it goes parabolic for an hour or two...then tanks again.  POS really.
Comment by Silverad0 on Sep 04, 2023 9:21am
Yup that's some 10 bagger allright.  At today's SP of $1.00 that's a ten bagger of 55 cents. GOOD JOB TRENT!   If and it's a big if this venture gets bought out the plant will get finished. But in my opinion this is a white elephant put together by BS artists that dont know WTF they are doing outside the realm of virtue signaling and producing more failures while ...more

They have spent considerably more, than they have Market Capitalization.  Market cap is around $57M.  Well done Trent et al.  You have screwed everyone, equally.  A balance hard to achieve.  But you did it.  Bag holders litter your path.  Closed doors line your equity raise road ahead.  Debt is your friend, but not your ally.  And actual revenue ...more

Glencore.  They will bend FCC over, and insert their corporate shaft.  They will "rescue" the deal, and take it from there.  For a song.
