buy out at $3

my guess

trent and the other ``competent` people would make a buck  ,the company who buys them  get it on the cheap  and as always, the retail investor  losses  out.   jmo

At this point the only way retail imvestors can protect themselves from a buyout is to lower their average SP cost as much as possible. I'm guessing most people here bought between 15-30 cents pre-split, so a $3 buyout would be a 16 cent average. Hopefully the buyout price is higher than that, but with this dog of a company who knows. Tough to put more money into a company that is so far off ...more

Is there already in-depth knowledge here that most here don't know about? Are you in contact with the management and do you know what will happen soon? Or is this just conjecture that lacks substance? I think a strategic investment is much more likely and, if done right, very welcome.

Just throwing possibilities out there. Nobody really knows, though, because all we hear from management is  conjecture, so one is forced to make their own assumptions. I know you visited management and had a chat and you seem to be quite certain all is good, but not all are convinced. And what investment are you referring to? Federal government and DoD?

Government is not going to give any money to a company this far underwater. Electra is not going to be able to get financing for the remaining money. A sell is an only option, whether it's through hostile takeover, or bid. If it's a bid, they go on the average of the trading from the last three months.

WernHerr  so what is the story?  In depth knowledge?  What will happen soon?  Do you have something to say or just another post that lacks substance?  You sound like Trent here. What is your take on things WernHerr?  Offer up something of value!
Comment by Starkicker on Sep 11, 2023 9:41am
Yes, WernHerr. Did they tell you something in your meeting that they are unwilling to tell the rest of us in public? I doubt it. The only thing you said from your meeting is that you were impressed because they had a humble office instead of some elaborate setup. Well, no kidding. They don't have any money. Did they serve you instant coffee as well? From where the rest of us sit, the refinery ...more

Well Starkicker dont hold your breath waiting for the company troll to add anything here.  WerHerr is waiting for Trent and Joe to tell him what to say next.
