I was looking at ETL going under $1 with another PO but thanks God that they got some money from the gov. Let's hope their burn rate stays low...

This new development just postpones the real construction of the actual commercial plant. Looks to me as a project to keep staff busy and investors distracted while lithium prices are in the tank. I seriously question the necessity of this demonstration plant. Everything  that the needed to achieve to prove that DLE is a workable process for their brine was achieved last summer/fall with the ...more

  I too am wondering this.   Is this "demonstration plant" not a repeat of last year's?  Is this to wait and see how the US election plays out? And what exactly is the cost of this plant?  How is it being fully funded?  $5 million is a drop in the bucket.    The good news is the AB government is acknowledging the potential here in a ...more

That was my initial thought too. That has since changed, primarily as a result of their recent announcement that the Albert government is putting up $5 million towards to the demonstration facility. I've also been reflecting on Chris's stingy (but good) cash management. He doesn't burn through cash like there's no tomorrow, like most of the companies on Venture Exchange, so I don ...more

Chris Doornbos is doing god's work. That's why instead of giving staff bonuses, he gave them stickers...literally gave stickers out instead of bonuses or raises to staff. He did give himself a hefty raise of over $300k and expensed a trip to the bahamas on the company's dime. What a great guy.
