Things are not too rosy right now. In Canada we already seen some scale backs and postponements. Dampening the EV mood Five years ago, France and Germany agreed to spend billions of euros into a plan to boost Europe’s battery industry and catch up with China and the US. Now that effort is running out of steam.As electric-vehicle sales slow, companies including Volkswagen, Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz are scaling back or refocusing battery projects. Chinese manufacturers are slashing costs and the US is drawing away investment with lucrative subsidies. Northvolt is streamlining its operations and even the Swedish Government won’t help it out. Volvo Plant in Sweden postponed, Power Co. Germany scaling back. First time ever VG layed off.

Stellantis struggling to survive. Right now is not a good time in the EV world. I firmly believe it is going to change. Just not for some time. I’m holding ETL but def not for a quick buck.
