Note 4 "Inventory" in Q3 2020 Financials. Analysis.

EVE's Q3, 2020 financials give the following...

Dried Cannabis           $8,399,088
Work in Progress             635,945
                                    _________
Total                            $9,035,033 cannabis product

EVE has their cannabis valued at the $1.21 they got in Q3...SO,

$9,035,033 divided by $1.21 = 7,466,969 grams "in the vault" = 7,467 kgs.

A few weeks ago, EVE posted that it was sending 5,000 kgs off to NextLeaf for extraction.

EVE said it would "share" in any profit that NextLeaf might make selling it. EVE won't get anywhere near the Q3 $1.21 they valued it at on Sept 30.

In FACT, EVE gave NO GUIDANCE on such a HUGE, material action as to value or when they might expect to see any return from this....one    month?...two months?...six months? Your GUESS!

SO...Eve now has 2,467 kgs left to sell at $1.21 using Sept 30 inventory and Sept 30 price/gram.

2,467 kgs at $1.21/gram = $2,985,070 still "on hand" to sell to retail.

In short, 5,000 kgs of EVE's 7,467 kgs inventory went to NextLeaf...that is about 66% shipped off. No invoice...just a "let's share" deal. If NextLeaf goes out of business for some reason, EVE won't see a dime.

EVE will need to account for this shipment to NextLeaf in their Q4 [year end] results which we will likely see later in April 2021.

In general...expect another HUGE, negative inventory adjustment in the next financial release since 2/3 of the Sept 30 Inventory left with no known value...except it will be much less than $1.21/gram.

Cheers,  Bob

I agree with Bob....I also think shipping this inventory to nextleaf is a last ditch effort to get some cash although possibly to late and will be at a loss. My findings are as follows; 5000kgs of Cannabis will result in aproximate 20-25% conversion to oils = 1000kgs Current wholesale oil prices/kg is averaging $6000 - $7000 = $7,000,000 Split with Nextleaf leaves eve with $3,500,000 best case ...more

There is no reason to think that the selling value will be less than $1.21/g - a number I'd like to confirm also rather than take you word. Interesting thought on the cannabis product sent to Nextleaf and I like the math and how you got there however I think you're wrong. They didn't send inventory, they sent "biomass". This could be cannabis that has in a sense expired but ...more

Hey H, thanks for the thoughts. The key word is "SHARE" in the NextLeaf deal. If somehow NextLeaf did the extraction and managed to get an equvilent to $1.21 per gram, they are "partners that will share the profit". To me, that means probably a 50/50 deal...or $1.21/2 = 60.5 cents per gram back to EVE. EVE valued its Q3 INVENTORY at $1.21 per gram. It EVE gets 60 ...more

Lol, hey lying whisperer did you forget this tidbit of info from the press release? Sounds like a trial shipment was already done, come on do better. "This commercial shipment follows its initial required scientific purposes shipment to Germany which was completed during the summer months."
Comment by reallyBobbyZ on Nov 29, 2020 12:04pm
Ghost....and how much did they ship in that "first commercial shipment"? What would you guess "significant quantity" means?...how much? C'mon, give us your educated GUESS. Cheers,  Bob

Only ones that know are the ones that work there. I dont guess on things I dont know and make up numbers like you do and call them "facts".
Comment by BobbIeheadbob on Nov 29, 2020 12:23pm
In fact it's the contrary.  You do nothing but guess and make up everything......

Hey Fisher, Respectfully....you have posted your thoughts on what the "German deal" means to EVE over time. There is no sense me arguing with you on this. I don't agree with the $$$/gram you use...but, maybe you are right...WHO the HECK KNOWS? EVE won't give us any info on even the first shipment...just "significant quantity". Why won't they tell us? They can keep ...more

Nope. I,m not an insider Bob but I,m confident in the direction EVE is going and that first german deal derisked this stock big time and thats good enough for me to play this stock yup LONG . Cheers

Hey Fisher, again Respectfully...your investment in EVE is your money and your risk...just like all EVE shareholders. Everyone wants CLEAR, CONCISE info from EVE, but EVE is always so OPAQUE. We are all left to Speculate....very SAD. If the Q3 LOSS of $4.22 million was just a one-time thing...and they explained it to us, then great. BUT, EVE isn't saying. No comments on it and no GUIDENCE ...more
