Bank of Canada taper decision could be good for DDC

DDC has no debt so if the Bank of Canada taper stimulus and eventually raises rates, sure the market may fall but DDC will eventually stand out as a better buy. That's unique for a speculative stock and rare. I didn't say anything because I didn't expect this decision to come so quickly on taper as it is in the news only lately but that's why I got back in recently. Hard to tell if the market will see it that way so it's just my guess.

Nice point. You're right that having no debt may help us stand out as interest rates rise and people look more critically at stocks with more outstanding debt.  Be interesting to see how quickly they rise. I hope people have locked in rates. A lot of people went ceeditnjaply during this time. Houses, cars, renovations.

Wait ...so now you're back in because of the BoC?!?!? Not because the share price dropped under $1.50? How many shares did you buy?
Comment by InvestForce on Mar 10, 2021 9:50am
Pkrash, how about you learn to read, and be respectful? I don't need to alert you when I bought and how much. Obviously it was when it was low, as implied by the word "recently". The point about BoC was a thought and how you could turn that into a personal attack reflects badly on you. But I guess this post of mine will just trigger you more.

Nice spin and out of context. Now play the victim. To summarize, you were out of the stock and posting negative comments. You dismissed the short covering post I made but now buy back in on a thin BoC interest rate theory and how it affects DDC. Please. Just answer the simple question. Since you bought back in, how much of a conviction buy is it? 500 shares? 50,000? Context is always missing when ...more

The 7,500,000 share sale of Fidelity shows one example of net sales that was not short covering, although that was from February, not the past 2 weeks. Not everything is about shorts. Fewer investors are trading, volume is "normalizing", short interest is dropping.
Comment by InvestForce on Mar 10, 2021 1:55pm
Sorry, I mean shorting, not short covering. My apologies.
Comment by pkrash on Mar 10, 2021 2:33pm
Sadly I have to correct you and put things into context again...there are no "net sales" for the stock. While Fidelity may have sold some shares someone else bought them. I can easily say there were "net buyers". I also never said "everything was about shorting". I only posted some relevant information that a large part of the short position was covered. This is ...more

Very well said. As usual, you resort to facts. You resort to respect and courtesy. Unlike other people who resort to name calling... Ridiculous. We're online people... Some people may have mental disabilities... Let's have some respect and foster quality conversations.

Exactly. Perfectly said. I'm here to find info on the company and discuss relevant things that actually matter. Of course everyone has an opinion and that's great on a forum. But I'm going to call you out every time you post something as "fact" but really is your bad/wrong opinion or just bashing for some undisclosed reason. What happened? Did a drone kill your dog? Do you ...more

Wow all 5 accounts of PKASSRASH liked your post. Now that makes you suspect. Hahahaha

Brad do you actually have a problem with what was said? It actually was quite accurate and informative.  You've been acting fairly pecularaly Brad, even for you. I'm not even trying to joke, but you okay? Can we just try to actually discuss the stock and the company? After probably hundreds of posts, if you count the pyseudoynms, I actually have no idea what you think about ...more

I've read an article about the psychology behind catfishing, creating false identities and compulsive lying. It is a very serious and one should seek help. Some resources to help if needed. Wow you really let the cat out the bag sharing all your mental health resources. lol now we know why you have 5 stockhouse accounts and like and reply to your own comments. It's like you have multiple personalities. I can just imagine how much time you spent getting the links to a dozen mental health sites you frequent . Talk about obsessed. I'm starting to get weird stalker vibes from you ...more

You still upset that I showed everyone you begging me for advice after saying I was wrong when I predicted the price would drop like a rock from 2.50? Haha
Comment by brad753 on Mar 10, 2021 11:48am
He did the same to me, he won't drop it. He's a lonely old man. I had to put all his accounts on ignore. He has 3. And he'll go in and like his own comments. I think there is some mental illness there.

Wrong again (and still) Brad. Please stop posting false information. I do not have multiple accounts. I am using the same account for years and other posters here know me. I have done nothing but call out your (or anyone's) posts that are false and or bashing. You are still refusing to answer simple questions that would put your posts into proper context for everyone that can't see through ...more
