AFIRS Vs SITA's wireless gatelink
Is anyone familiar with the wireless gatelink product from SITA? I was wondering how the two differentiate? Obviously the method is different, WiFi Vs mobile network. Does 5G have an edge over WiFi?
Also, I suppose they differ in terms of the type of data they transmit?
If anyone has looked into this already, appreciate the insights. Otherwise I'll try dig deeper myself.

Pretty much the same product. SITA and ARINC have had these products for years. flyhts is a variation on the same theme. It is why the big boys have never taken flyht seriously except for some sat com capabilities that link into their current ARINC and SITA systems.

Let me make sure I understand this right. We know FLYHT's new EDGE will convey information over 5G. Does it really have much advantage over conveying information over WiFi? FLYHT keeping saying there's no competition in the 5G space, which is true, but if WiFi does just as good a job, it sounds like a pretty immaterial thing to brag about...
