re: number play

I forgot to add something about the cost of the Edge against the cost of a new Airbus Neo or Boeing Max.

simpleflying.com has a nice article on the subject for the range of Airbus product.

https://simpleflying.com/how-much-do-airbus-aircraft-cost/

simpleflying.com also has an article about Boeing aircraft.

https://simpleflying.com/how-much-do-boeing-aircraft-cost/

Both articles are from 2023, so allow for that.

The range in price for new aircraft is wide, with the most of them coming in around $110 to $130 million, presumed USD.

To ballpark it, and lowball it at the same time, let's say $100 million USD.

If the Edge is costing buyers $30,000 USD, the cost of the Edge represents just .03% of the cost of a new plane. If the day comes that these installs would be done on the assembly line (OEM), that would probably drop the cost significantly.

Used aircraft would come in around $25 million USD, so quadruple the cost impact to .12%.
